When will he be by my side?
When will he be there in my time of need?
When do I know for certain what my future brings?
When the time comes...
I'll know everything.
When will my mind, at last, be at peace?
When will the grey skies turn blue?
When are the days of serenity and love?
When the time comes...
I'll be at ease.
When do I know my time is up?
When do I stop hurting inside?
When does the songbird finally sing for me?
When the time comes...
My heart will be set free.
At last, my mind, my soul, my essence
At last be stilled from the swells o' the storm.
At last I am calm and filled with tranquility.
For when the time comes...
I'll just have to be me.

Hey, Me,
Hope you have checked out PoeticAsides! FYI, I am not going to be posting much right now because I am trying to get things published. But once a poem is accepted and makes its way into print or online, I will indeed post them. Email me anytime at poetmomskas@rochester.rr.com, as I don't do the blog much! Peace, and glad Jason intro'd us, Amy
